After a fun day at Basin Head Beach, we made our way back to our cottage and stopped at Clam Diggers for supper and experienced our best meal of the week. Mouth watering crab, flaky fresh Haddock, tender and juicy steak followed by the best homemade carrot cake and bread pudding in a yummy rum sauce. Delicious!
Dined in with a large group. waitress was very pleasant and patient. The seafood we ordered was amazing and fresh. This is the 2nd time we have come when on holidays and always impressed.
We love dining here! And we love that they are already open for the season. Tuna poke was amazing, they have sweet fries as a side substitution and they are licensed. Take your family here, it’s a great place to catch a great meal.

Our second time having meal here, quality was still as good as before. The restaurant was spacious with high ceiling. Love the two linguini in the menu.
Not often I rave about a restaurant... but this place is well worthy of high praise. Beautiful location, well presented restaurant. An excellent selection of menu items for reasonable prices. Service was welcoming, pleasant and polite, they know they have a great product! The portions were huge! The seafood perfectly cooked, the fries delicious and the salad was heavenly.
This is a great place for some fine dining. Wanna go a little more causal? I saw several people picking up orders and taking them out to picnic tables. There is also the operation of eating on the patio Either way, you are going to enjoy the seafood here. We ordered the Digger Dip for an appetizer. For the entree we had the Oven Baked Haddock and the Fish Burger. It was very good. Excellent service from our delightful server, Miss Jenny. Quick with the orders. Everything was perfect. Bathrooms are super clean and have plenty of soap, towels, and hot water. Our only complaint might be the limited amount of parking.
Service was super friendly and the restaurant has a beautiful view of the river. Food was delicious as well, the fried clams, scallops with bacon and lobster supper were amazing
